What is Compact Laminate? Compact Laminate is constructed with layers of Kraft paper, dipped in resin and the dried. These layers are then sandwiched between a laminated top and bottom sheets, compressed and baked. A process called polymerisation melds them all together: creating a solid- core panel that is an extra tough durable laminate. This process creates a finished panel that is strong, self-supporting, water resistant and highly durable, requiring very low maintenance – perfect for a multitude of uses in commercial and public spaces. This means that compact laminate is perfect for virtually unlimited interior uses. It can be used vertically or horizontally for things like toilet and shower cubicles, wall panelling, lab benches, tables, office furniture, Lockers, in fact almost anything. Compact Laminate solid core sheets come in a range of colours and thicknesses from 3mm through to 25mm. Why is compact laminate so good? Compact laminate can take the knocks a lot better than other options. Being a tough durable product it is perfect for ‘high traffic’ locations and because it’s impervious to water is ideal in wet areas. Being a finished product, once its installed there’s nothing else to do – no filling, sanding or painting. And as for cleaning it really is low maintenance and most things can be washed off with soapy water. Even graffiti can be removed in most situations.

Vách ngăn khu vệ sinh sử dụng tấm COMPACT, MFC đang dần được phổ biến trong nhiều lĩnh vực xây dựng, thiết kế và trang trí nội thất, đặc biệt là trong các nhà máy công nghiệp, khu công cộng như sân bay, nhà ga...vì nó đáp ứng được tính thẩm mỹ, dễ dàng vệ sinh, chi phí hợp lý... Vậy nên, sản phẩm  này được rất nhiều chủ đầu tư hoặc các công ty xây dựng tin dùng và đánh giá cao về các tính năng như chịu lực, độ cứng, độ bền, khả năng chịu nước và chống oxy hóa.

Tấm Compact còn được biết đến dưới cái tên Solid Phenolic, là tấm dạng cứng. lõi đặt, được tạo thành từ nhiều lớp giấy nền Kraft (nâu hoặc đen) ( giấy Kraft là loại giấy tái sinh, kraft là giấy làm từ bột giấy hóa học của gỗ mềm xử lý bởi các quá trình kraft). Sau khi ngâm tẩm qua nhựa Phenolic thì được ép nén dưới nhiệt độ cao ( 150oC) và áp suất (1430psi) bên ngoài phủ một lớp giấy màu thẩm mỹ đã ngâm qua nhựa Melamine. Được phát triển dựa trên kỹ thuật làm tấm HPL truyền thống, về cơ bản Compact HPL là tấm Laminate ( High pressure laminate) dày với rất nhiều lớp giấy Kraft Phenolic ép chồng lên nhau khiến cho Compact HPL cứng và bền hơn Laminate rất nhiều.
